Globeday in Årsta
What is important in my life? In my school? Where I live? In Sweden? In the world? 70 pupils and students from five schools in Stockholm together with their teachers and invited guest from other parts of Sweden came together for the Yearly GlobeDay to discuss what is important in life – which is named the Basis of Value for the School
Pupils opened the GlobeDay by performing problematic real life situations in school. The interactions in the working groups became intense. By the end of the day the pupils concluded: Bullying – must stop! Show respect for one another. Listen and see! Security and peace of mind. We are equal. Racism and violence must be removed! Democracy and equality is important for everyone – in the world. The Globe Day is a true inspiration with the young ones in Globetree at the helm!
