Future Meeting

A small rowan is now a peace tree at the sports hall in Luleå that was planted by Foreign Minister Sten Andersson on World Environment Day on 5 June. Sten Andersson who reminded of solidarity with the poor peoples of the world.
The planting was the final of a peace camp that lasted a week at Karlsviks camping in Luleå with 1000 participants from i.a. Murmansk, Kemi, Tromsö and Luleå. The Peace and Future Meeting in Luleå was inspired by the Globe Tree’s Future Meeting at Stockholm Concert Hall the year before and ended with a sing-along.
