Silver Rose Award – Brussels 2008

Kajsa Dahlstrom, President of  Globetree, received the Silver Rose Award from Solidar  in a ceremony at the European Parliament in Brussels the 15th of October.

“As the Solidar Silver Rose Awards celebrate the achievements of exceptional people who dedicate their work to social justice the Silver Rose Jury decided that Globetree is an outstanding Award Winner in 2008.” The Vice President of the European Commission Ms Margot Wallström gives the award speech for Globetree. Kajsa Dahlström includes the entire Globetree network in her thanking speech – the thousands of children, youth and adults all over the world who make the Rights of the Child come true. Many friends of Globetree joined the Price Ceremony – a great party!
